Who writes this site
BetSettled is produced by a small editorial team. We are independent. No operator has any ownership stake in this site, and no operator has editorial input.
How AI is used here
We use AI tools to draft, translate and cross-check. Every published figure is checked by a person against a primary source before it appears on the site. We do not publish AI-generated text that no one has verified.
What we promise
We keep our promises small so that we can keep them:
- Every row in a comparison table carries the date we last checked it. If we have not checked something, it says *unverified* — we never fill a gap with a guess.
- Every factual claim links to its source, and the source is a primary one wherever possible: the operator's own terms, a regulator's licence register, or a public blockchain record.
- We correct errors in public. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note what changed.
We deliberately do not promise a fixed update schedule. Conditions in this industry change without notice, and a schedule we cannot keep would be worse than no schedule at all. The last-checked date on each row tells you exactly how fresh the information is.
How we rank operators
Rankings reflect what we verified, not what we are paid. Commission rates play no part in ordering, scoring or inclusion. When we begin affiliate partnerships, that will not change — see our Affiliate disclosure.
What we will not publish
These are firm limits, not preferences:
- We do not promote operators whose selling point is avoiding identity checks.
- We do not explain how to get around geographic restrictions, and we do not link to services that exist for that purpose.
- We do not publish systems, strategies or tips claiming to beat the house. They do not exist.
- We do not suggest that gambling is a way to make money, recover losses, or solve a financial problem.
- We publish nothing aimed at people under the legal age in their jurisdiction.
